Women Empowerment

In the field of women empowerment, women will be made capable in the field of employment so that women do not depend on others and by doing their own employment, the aim of the organization is that Bihari laborers do the same for the settlements in Dehradun by going to their settlements and providing them employment. Training in sewing will be given, training in making LED bulbs, training in making pickles etc. will be given by the organization.

Mushrooms Business

With a view to self-employment in the society, the organization taught mushroom making in August 2021. This training was taught to the people of the area near the organization's office. In this, the entire process of how button mushroom Easter mushroom is grown was explained from beginning to end. In this, an expert was called from outside by the organization for training, he was told and the local people kept doing it like first placing the straw in a water tank, adding chemicals to it, then leaving it to dry and then the next day, mushrooms were added to it. Getting the seeds and then packing them in packets or training lasted for three days in which 18 people participated in it, 10 were women, 8 were men.. The result was that eight people grew mushrooms at their home. Started growing it and sent it to the nearby market, this gave them employment.

Women Empowerment

This year, for women empowerment, with the help of Multipurpose Training Center Khadi and Village Industries Commission, Dehradun, the organization organized a five-day women’s training class in the premises of Shiv Mandir Kalidas Road, which ran from June 2023 to June 10, 2023. The organization provided this training to all the women without any fees.
On the first day everyone was introduced, candidates’ forms were filled, copy of their Aadhar card, copy of 10th mark sheet and each passport photo was taken and the next day what work has to be done and how the training will be done.
On the second day, ingredients like chopped mango, cabbage, chilli, lemon etc. were brought and their pickle was made.
On the third day, training was given on jackfruit pickles.
On the fourth day. On the fourth day, mango chutney and tomato chutney were made.
On the fifth day, pineapple apple grape jam was made, awalaa candy was made, awalaa murabba was made along with it pickle of bitter gourd and garlic was also made

Self-Employment

With the view of self-employment, the organization set up a stall in Shri Anya Mahotsav, in which the organization collected coarse grains by contacting the women living in the villages of Chamoli district. Mainly, Mandwa soybean, Jhangora turmeric juice was kept in the stall. Through this program, Women were motivated for self-employment so that they can buy more grains and good quality grains in the fields. This Shree Other Mahotsav was held at Hathi Badh Kal Survey Ground from 13 in 2023 to 16 in 2023.

Other Activities

Kirti Verma, son of Subhash Chandra Verma, resident of Adhuri Wala, Dehradun, studies in class 8. Kirti Verma had to undergo liver transplant for the treatment of which she was incurring an expense of Rs 20,000. The student was being treated at Graphic Era Hospital, Jhajhra, Dehradun by the organization. A check of Rs 10000 was given to the teacher of Sunrise School, Dehradun on 18 March 2024
